Marshmallow - Marshmallow root can be used as a means to alleviate grief, fear, and other harsh emotions. It will assist in replacing them with softness, love, and compassion. For those whose healing work has left them with a drained feeling, this herb will do much to rebuild inner strength. Be careful not to take into yourself other people’s upsets and emotions. Doing so may deplete the second chakra area and the kidneys. It connects you with the sensuousness of Earth so that you are more grounded in your body.
Turmeric - When one feels a lack of strength and spiritual power, this herb will fortify and create an inner stirring of strength. For those whose energy is aggressive and argumentative, it will clear this energy and create the space for a new and healthier viewpoint to grow.
Cayenne - This herb whose spicy, fiery nature is both stimulating and rallying to the inner resources of power so that one can overcome internal stagnation, blockages, and fears. It has the capacity to open the heart center while allowing one to remain in control of it.
Wood Betony - Protection against evil spirits. It was worn as an amulet to protect from fearful visions and to drive away devils and despair while easing the mental anguish and fearful visions internally or externally.
Peony – Helps to foster and harmonize the feminine energy within. It allows the circulation of our subconscious to flow and move, thus enabling us to get in touch with our essential nature. This beautiful flower has a vibration of softness yet deep vitality which is indicative of the basic yin, or feminine, energy from which all of life receives its foundation.
